My Dream Home

A little shack in the woods

In a well-established and wild neighborhood

Rough sawn, hand hewn and cedar strong

This rustic haven comes with a time-tested tin roof

and built in rain- drop-sleep inducer

Forest frontage and sunset views

Solar heated with breezy-blow through cooling

Deer and other natives retain right -of-way

I hope you attain your dream soon, Drew..
It is one easily attainable if you plan your work and work your plan..

Peace.

There's something ironic in the way some of us with suburban homes dream of a little cabin in the woods. Billions would give anything to have what we have, and yet, we want less.

I've been dreaming of that place in the country for most of my 50-something year life. I haven't given up yet, but the hour grows late. As Paradise says, make a plan. Dreams don't get it done.

Right on, Mr. Lanham. As a woman of color into nature, I like your blog. I linked to your website from mine, www.annedrawsanimals.com. Take care and keep up the good work!
